Trip to Boston

Sadly my grandmother passed away so James and I were able to take a trip to Boston for the funeral to see the family and say good-bye one last time.

A little part of my family was able to get away for a night and we had dinner at this delicious Italian restaurant. It was so much fun catching up and being able to spend some time together. (Big Papa was sadly cut out of the picture to the left, sorry.)

Veronice and James really hit it off. I was so pleased that their goofy sides matched and they were able to entertain me for a day when we took the T down to Boston and walked around Harvard.

The Ball

My hunky military husband was invited to a Ball that his Platoon put on. And of course the line came to me "Every pretty girl deserves to go to a ball." I was exstatic to be able to buy a dress and get all dolled up for a night.

4th of July

It was such a pretty day on the 4th. James and I went exploring to Steilacom, a town over. Seriously my favorite place that I have found here so far. From the spot we camped out at to see the fireworks had the prettiest view.

Since James and I had camped out there all day we were unprepared for the cold weather so we made it long enough to see a couple fireworkds and then ran home to warm up.

Legal in WA

I flew in June 19th and we were married June 20th.

Bridal Shower

Alright, well who says there is an order to getting married. Maybe the Bridal Shower should come after you tie the knot. Mine did.

These are the most incredible women who planned me a lovely Bridal Shower. Thank you so much it was more than I could have hoped for!!!

My Momma. She doesn't know it now, or feel it, but she is going to miss me!

Oh to Elope

Friday, May 10, my mother and I took a very early flight to Seattle, Washington to visit the most incredible man I have ever met. Although we both agreed the flight was WAY to long when we finally arrived we were way to ready to go explore the city before James got off work.

Saturday, May 11, James and I started OUR next adventure. We said "I DO" in front of a very fun group of people on top of the Space Needle with the most beautiful view of Seattle. It was pretty windy up there and a little chilly, but the most incredible day! I could not have been happier.

Dinner at the Space Needle was horrible for my gallbladder but so delicious. The dessert of course was my favorite part!!! This picture really only lets the world see a little bit of the laughs and humor we have together. There is NEVER a dull moment.

It was a wonderful weekend that we all agreed was way to short. It was hard leaving my soul mate behind. I am so excited to spend the rest of my life with this man. I will be moving out the third weekend in June. Really we are both counting down. James is having a really fun time shopping for random odds and ends that we will need for our apartment. There will be many stories to come I'm sure... so keep posted!!!!! And so it is.

A Little Trip to Visit

I decided to take a little trip for my man's 4 day weekend because I hadn't seen him since December. It was soooo fun because we spent the weekend in Seattle heading to the Space Needle, the Rock'n'Roll and Space Museum, the Seattle Zoo, and so much more! While I was catching up on all the blogs I follow when I got home, I realizes the pictures are really my favorite part of any blog. So here are my favorite ones from the trip:
